Ɔdadeɛ Mentorship Programme: Cohort 2 Concludes, Legacy Continues

On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the Ɔdadeɛ Alumni and Mentorship Centre (AMC) hosted the closing ceremony for Cohort 2 of the Ɔdadeɛ Mentorship Programme. The event marked the completion of a three‑month initiative that paired 130 PRESEC students with 25 mentors drawn from university academia, architecture, business and other professional fields.

Through structured sessions and shared experiences, mentees gained guidance on leadership, self‑confidence, time management, career choices, tertiary education, entrepreneurship and personal development. The programme also offered practical insights into decision‑making, discipline and overcoming challenges, preparing students for life beyond PRESEC.

The ceremony highlighted the partnership between PRESEC and the Ɔdadeɛ fraternity, with Madam Mercy Amoah, Assistant Headmistress (Administration), and Madam Michaelina Quaye, PRESEC School Counsellor, underscoring the school’s role in holistic student development.

Looking ahead, Ɔdadeɛ David Afflu called for greater fraternity support to launch an online mentorship platform, aiming to tap the global Ɔdadeɛ community, especially alumni abroad. To enable this, the programme will need reliable internet, tablets, laptops and supporting technology at the AMC.

Global President Ɔdadeɛ Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong pledged to provide the necessary technological resources, giving fresh momentum to the expansion vision. Special commendation went to Director of Mentorship Ɔdadeɛ Ian Laryea and his committee for coordinating the cohort.

While Cohort 2 has officially concluded, the relationships forged are intended to endure. The mentorship programme is positioned to have an even greater impact as it grows beyond its three‑month framework.
