The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has named Frank Danquah, born 11 September 1978, as a wanted person for alleged narcotic‑related offences. The commission released a public notice on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, asking the public to provide any information that could help locate Mr Danquah.
Those with knowledge of his whereabouts are urged to contact NACOC via its toll‑free hotline, 0800 307 307. The notice did not specify the particular offences for which Mr Danquah is sought.
According to NACOC’s official wanted‑persons page, individuals on its list may be sought for offences under the Narcotics Control Commission Act, 2020 (Act 1019), which covers the importation or exportation, unlawful possession or control, and prohibited business involving narcotic drugs or plants.
The announcement comes as Ghana’s narcotics‑control system faces heightened scrutiny, following investigations into the alleged trafficking of 3.9 tonnes of suspected cocaine from Ghana to France. The consignment was intercepted at Dunkirk, leading to the remand of six people linked to the case. Prosecutors claimed that four containers had been scanned at Tema Port before being released for export, despite abnormalities allegedly detected in the scan images.
NACOC has not indicated that Mr Danquah is connected to the France cocaine case. The commission’s notice represents the latest step in its broader crackdown on drug trafficking.
Authorities will continue to monitor the situation and urge anyone with information to come forward through the hotline.
