Ghanaian musician Black Sherif added a new international chart milestone when his single “Jolie” entered the UK Official Afrobeats Chart at No. 20 for the week of 13–19 September 2026.
The track, taken from his six‑track Sun Sherif EP, joins a string of appearances on the UK chart that have seen the artist’s releases consistently reach the top 20.
Black Sherif’s chart journey began with his breakout hit “Kwaku The Traveller” in 2022, which peaked at No. 2 on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart and stayed for 13 weeks. The song also reached No. 5 on Billboard’s US Afrobeats Songs chart and topped Nigeria’s Apple Music Top 100.
Since then, the artist has maintained a presence with collaborations such as “Second Sermon” with Burna Boy (No. 8), “Soja” (No. 13), “Shut Up” and “Kilos Milos” (both No. 13), “Lord I’m Amazed” (No. 10), “So It Goes” with Fireboy DML (No. 5), and “Sacrifice” (No. 11). His 2026 releases Popstar (No. 8) and Swagga (No. 15) also charted before “Jolie” entered at No. 20.
Beyond chart success, Black Sherif earned the Best International Flow award at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards and has had both his debut and sophomore albums appear on Billboard’s World Albums Chart, with his 2025 album Iron Boy debuting at No. 10.
“Jolie” therefore adds to a pattern of steady international growth, underscoring the artist’s ability to bring Ghanaian sound to a global audience.
