Mrs Victoria Keren Lamiorkor Adomakoh, formerly known as Bright‑Davies, died peacefully on 4 September 2026 at the age of 91. The announcement came from the heads of the Robert Nii Mensah Nartey (Nii Mensah Yebra) Families of Osu Alata, Nii Obeng Kwatchey, the Bright‑Davies Family, Opanin Yaw Obeng Adomako—Abusuapanin of Abenase and head of the Adomakoh Family—Nana Tweneboa Asante, Abenase Kontihene, and the Accra Ridge Church.
Mrs Adomakoh was the wife of Professor Christian Charles Adomakoh, a retired professor from the University of Ghana Medical School. She was also the mother of several distinguished professionals: Madam Heather Joyce Nana Serwah Adomakoh, a retired accountant; Mrs Lilian Yaa Pokuah Buamah, General Manager at GHIB in the United Kingdom; Mr John Kofi Adomakoh Adomakoh, former Managing Director of GCB Bank; and Dr Chris Akwesi Poku Adomakoh, Medical Director at St. Andrew’s Clinic.
The family has announced funeral arrangements with a dress code of white and black for Friday and white for Sunday. Friends and sympathisers are invited to attend the services, which will honour Mrs Adomakoh’s legacy of service and devotion to her community.
Her passing marks the end of a life that bridged academia, finance, and healthcare, leaving a lasting impact on the families and institutions she touched. The community is invited to share memories and support one another during this period of mourning.
