On 29 October 2026, the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation announced the winners of the 2026 AgriTech Challenge Pro. Ten businesses were selected from a pool of fifteen to receive seed funding and progress into KIC’s Incubation Programme, where they will receive further support to strengthen their business models, improve market readiness and build sustainable, commercially viable enterprises within Ghana’s agricultural sector.
The selection followed a rigorous process designed to assess potential, viability and readiness. Throughout the Challenge, entrepreneurs refined their solutions, validated their business propositions and demonstrated how their innovations could respond to real needs across the agricultural value chain. A key component was the field‑validation stage, during which the KIC team engaged with participating businesses and their operating environments to verify claims and strengthen evidence informing funding decisions.
Speaking at the Final Pitch event, KIC Programs Manager Stanley Amamu highlighted, “At the Kosmos Innovation Center, we believe that Africa’s agricultural transformation will be driven not only by what we produce, but also by how we innovate, how we build businesses and how we create opportunities for young people to participate in the agricultural value chain.” He added, “The AgriTech Challenge Pro was designed with this in mind. It challenges entrepreneurs to move beyond the promise of an idea and begin building businesses that respond to real market needs, solve practical problems and have the potential to become commercially viable.”

The winning businesses and their seed funding amounts are as follows: Angban Life – USD13,000; From a Mother’s Kitchen – USD12,000; Pri Fimps Foods – USD10,000; Kebab Masters – USD10,000; Hibitea and Beverages – USD10,000; GreenFalcon Innovations – USD10,000; Feathery Care Ltd – USD10,000; Ecoverse Ltd – USD10,000; Ecofert Ghana Ltd – USD10,000; and Hot Drops – USD5,000. A total of USD100,000 seed funding was awarded.
Progression into incubation represents an important step for the selected businesses. With funding and targeted business development support, they will address critical growth challenges, strengthen operations and position their enterprises for greater market participation. The programme reflects KIC’s broader commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs and supporting the development of businesses that can contribute to agricultural transformation, job creation and economic opportunity.
As the selected businesses move into incubation, their progress will form part of the continuing journey from entrepreneurial potential to stronger, market‑oriented enterprises capable of delivering value across agricultural communities and value chains.
