Mark Oliver Kevor Unveils Plan to Paint Eastern Region Green for 2028 Elections

Ing. Dr Mark Oliver Kevor, the National Democratic Congress’s aspirant for Eastern Regional Chairman, revealed a new strategy aimed at turning the Eastern Region into a swing stronghold for the party in the 2028 general elections. Kevor presented the plan to delegates during a campaign tour of several constituencies, ahead of the party’s regional executive elections on November 14.

He noted that the NDC’s vote share in the Eastern Region rose from 38.08 % in 2020 to 47.8 % in the 2024 general elections, thanks to the work of previous regional executives. “We worked hard, invested money to win the 2024 elections. Unless you didn’t invest, sweat for us to win, you will not say that the wind just blew and we won,” Kevor said. “The wind doesn’t just blow; people made the win blow. We have a clear plan that in 2028, we will paint the Eastern region green.”

Kevor stressed that sustained effort and investment will be essential to improve on the 2024 performance. He called on party members to understand and support the plan, promising collaboration to achieve the goal.

Observers will watch how the NDC mobilises resources and grassroots support under Kevor’s leadership as the 2028 elections approach.
