Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has achieved a major academic milestone after graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Ghana.
Dr. Debrah was awarded his doctorate during the University’s School of Graduate Studies congregation held at the Great Hall on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
President John Dramani Mahama attended the ceremony, joining the traditional academic procession to show his support for the Chief of Staff and the graduating class.
This doctoral degree adds to Dr. Debrah’s extensive career in public governance. Prior to his current role as Chief of Staff, he served as Minister for Local Government and Rural Development from 2014 to 2015, and held key appointments as Regional Minister for both the Eastern and Greater Accra Regions between 2013 and 2014.
