The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) will commission new Ultra Centre facilities in Konongo and Ada as part of a nationwide expansion to improve public service delivery and bring its services closer to the public.

The move is aimed at easing congestion at existing DVLA offices, reducing the activities of middlemen – popularly known as “Goro boys” – and supporting the modernisation of public service infrastructure.

In a post on X, the Authority announced that the Konongo Ultra Centre will be commissioned on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., while the Ada Ultra Centre is scheduled for commissioning on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

These new centres are expected to serve the surrounding communities in both areas, providing faster and more efficient driver and vehicle licensing services.
