Societe Generale Ghana has kicked off a new Deposit and Win promotion aimed at boosting savings among its customers. The campaign, which will run from September to December 2026, offers a GHS200,000 cash prize to the grand winner and smaller prizes in interim draws.
To qualify, customers must deposit GHS500 or any multiple of that amount into their SG Ghana account. The promotion is open to both existing customers and non‑customers, who can simply open a new account to participate.
Managing Director Hakim Ouzzani said the bank is building on last year’s successful campaign, which saw a customer win a brand‑new car. He added, “Beyond the prizes, the campaign reflects our commitment to creating value for our customers and encouraging them to make purposeful financial decisions.”
General Manager of Retail Business Kwaku Tweneboa‑Kodua explained the mechanics: three mini‑draws in October, November and December will each award GHS10,000 to lucky winners. The grand draw, scheduled for March 2027, will offer GHS200,000 to one winner who saves a minimum of GHS5,000 for at least three months. Additional consolation prizes of GHS50,000 and GHS30,000 will also be awarded.
