Zonda Tec Ghana Limited has donated a HOWO CNTHC light truck valued at GH¢370,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF), popularly known as Mahama Cares, to strengthen the Fund’s logistical capacity and improve the distribution of medical equipment and essential supplies to health facilities across the country.

The truck is expected to support the transportation of critical medical equipment to healthcare facilities, particularly those serving hard‑to‑reach communities, where logistical challenges can limit access to essential healthcare resources.

The donation is aimed at improving the Fund’s ability to deliver medical supplies to beneficiary facilities and support its broader efforts to expand access to specialised healthcare services in Ghana.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, November 5, the Ghana Medical Trust Fund announced the donation, describing it as an important contribution towards easing the transportation of medical equipment to communities that need them most.

Presenting the vehicle, Zonda Tec Ghana Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Yang Yang, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting healthcare delivery in the country.

She said the donation reflected the company’s willingness to contribute to efforts aimed at improving healthcare access and supporting institutions working to address gaps in the health sector.

The Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adjoa Obuobia Darko‑Opoku, expressed appreciation to the company for the gesture, noting that partnerships with the private sector were important to the Fund’s efforts to expand access to specialised healthcare.

She indicated that such support would help strengthen the Fund’s operations and improve its capacity to reach health facilities and communities requiring critical medical interventions.
