Barcelona beat Levante 3‑2 at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, preserving a flawless opening to the La Liga season and extending their lead at the top of the table.
The match began with a quick opener from 17‑year‑old Xavi Espart, followed by a cut‑back from Raphinha that sent the 18‑year‑old Lamine Yamal through for Barcelona’s first goal.
Yamal added a second from the spot three minutes into the second half, making it 3‑0 before Levante’s Ivan Romero, on the bench, capitalised on a defensive lapse and pulled one back.
Levante then struck again when Roger Brugue headed home, forcing a nervy finish. In stoppage time, Karim Adeyemi, also a substitute, fired past Matthew Ryan to restore a two‑goal cushion and seal the win.
Barcelona will face Racing Santander on Wednesday night at 20:30 BST.
