Ghanaian actress Roselyn Ngissah struggled to contain her emotions as she paid her final respects to her late friend and colleague, Beverly Afaglo.
The emotional moment occurred during Beverly’s final funeral rites at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Roselyn, who was known to have shared a close friendship with Beverly, became visibly overwhelmed by grief as she approached the remains of the late actress.
A video from the funeral showed Roselyn struggling to move forward, with the actress heard expressing her difficulty in saying goodbye.
Her emotional reaction reflected the deep bond the two actresses shared and the impact Beverly’s death has had on colleagues within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Roselyn was among several prominent personalities who attended the funeral to honour Beverly.
Other celebrities present included Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Nana Ama McBrown, Majid Michel and Adjetey Annan.
Beverly Afaglo died on May 24, 2026, aged 42.
She was laid to rest after the funeral service, with a thanksgiving service scheduled for Sunday, August 9, at Action Chapel International in Tema.
