Operation Details and Arrests
At approximately 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, police units raided the warehouse facility and discovered individuals loading parcels of the contraband concealed inside sacks of processed cassava flour (gari) into a 40-foot shipping container.
Tema Port Raid: Three suspects were arrested on-site while packing the concealed narcotics.
Tsopoli Interception: A secondary operation conducted at Tsopoli on the same day led to the arrest of a fourth suspect and the seizure of four large sacks containing dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
All four suspects remain in police custody assisting with ongoing forensic investigations to trace the origin and intended destination of the shipment.
