The Ghana Police Service has arrested 47‑year‑old Beatrice Mumuni in connection with the killing of two relatives at the NTHC Estate, Sakumono, in the Greater Accra Region. Police say Mumuni led Samuel Christopher Osei Anto to the residence of the deceased before the murders.
The victims, George Atuguba, 57, and his 47‑year‑old niece Irene Atuguba, were shot dead on Friday, October 30, 2026. Preliminary findings suggest the killings may have stemmed from a financial dispute, with Atuguba allegedly owing GH¢500,000.
Police have declared Osei Anto wanted to aid investigations and are offering a reward of GH¢100,000 for credible information leading to his arrest. The police urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact emergency numbers 191 or 18555.
The circumstances surrounding the killings remain under investigation. Police continue to seek public assistance to locate Osei Anto and establish the full details of the incident.
