Kim Kardashian Wins €1 Compensation for 2016 Paris Robbery

A Paris court awarded Kim Kardashian exactly one euro for the 2016 robbery that left her bound and zip‑tied while over six million dollars of jewelry was stolen.

The decision, made on Tuesday, matched the amount she had asked for and formally recognized her as a victim of the harrowing incident.

Kim and stylist Simone Harouche, who was at the hotel during the break‑in, issued a joint statement to TMZ saying, "We are grateful to the French justice system for recognizing us as victims of the terrible events that took place in Paris in 2016. The experience was deeply traumatic, and its impact has stayed with us."

The statement added, "Today's decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition. We are thankful to the Court and everyone who supported us throughout this process, and we hope to now move forward and continue to heal."

Other victims also received payouts: a former hotel receptionist was awarded 109,516 euros, and the hotel itself received 50,000 euros.

Kim testified before a French court after the robbery, and last year eight people were found guilty for their roles in the burglary. She now says she is ready to move past the ordeal.

Looking ahead, Kim hopes the judgment will allow her to finally put the traumatic event behind her and focus on recovery.
