JSALK Beverages Ghana Limited, the maker of Eden Yuan Mineral Water, has cleared the medical and delivery bills of nursing mothers at Nkawie‑Toase Government Hospital in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Deputy Managing Director Frank Attakorah led the effort, paying the full cost for mothers who had delivered but could not afford the charges. The company also donated 60 packs of its flagship water to the maternity ward.

Attakorah, whose birthday fell on the day, used the occasion to counsel Ghanaians on the importance of drinking safe, purified water. He said, “About 70% of the human body is made of water. Water is life. Drinking safe, clean water helps with digestion, regulates body temperature, flushes out toxins from the kidney, carries nutrients to cells, and keeps our skin and organs healthy.”

The hospital staff thanked JSALK for the timely intervention, noting the relief it would bring to mothers and help decongest the maternity ward. The mothers, some of whom had been held for weeks over unpaid bills, expressed joy and gratitude.
JSALK reiterated its commitment to community development and supporting vulnerable groups as part of its core values. The company urged other corporates to emulate the gesture.
