MSK Zilina Africa and its junior side, Soccer Engineers, departed Ghana on Saturday, November 7, to compete in the ARG Nerja Cup 2026 in Nerja, Málaga, Spain. The lower‑division teams will spend a week in Spain before travelling to Italy for additional football programmes.
MSK Zilina Africa, a Division Two League club, will be joined by Soccer Engineers, who play in Division Three. This marks the clubs’ second major international outing, following their participation in football programmes in Dubai in 2022.
The ARG Nerja Africa Elite Showcase 2026 is organised by ARG Football Agency, led by FIFA agent Aitor Román, who is also an official partner of MSK Zilina Africa in Ghana. The tournament will expose the teams’ young talents to scouts and youth teams from Spanish clubs such as Atlético Madrid, Málaga CF, Granada CF and UD Almería.
ARG Football Agency has helped several Ghanaian players secure European opportunities, including Kenneth Yeboah at Rapid Vienna, Yussif Haruna and Issah Seidu at MSK Žilina, Henry Opoku at Deportivo Alavés, and Solomon Gyan at MFK Bytča.
Román frequently visits Ghana to scout talent, engage local clubs and academies, and support young footballers in pursuing professional opportunities abroad.
