The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced that, starting Thursday, November 12, every traveller arriving in Ghana must complete a mandatory Health Declaration Form online before embarking on their journey.
The directive, issued in a press release dated November 7, follows an announcement by the Minister of Health and is designed to strengthen public health surveillance, improve monitoring of potential health risks and safeguard the well‑being of residents and visitors.
Travellers can access the form through the GHS electronic health declaration portal at https://ehds.ghs.gov.gh/declaration. The Service urges prospective passengers to complete the process ahead of departure to avoid difficulties during their journey.

GHS has called on airlines, travel agencies and other relevant stakeholders to inform passengers about the new requirement and ensure they are adequately prepared before travelling. Compliance with the directive is said to facilitate a smooth travel process while supporting national efforts to protect public health.
The Service appealed to all travellers and stakeholders to cooperate with the measure, expressing appreciation for their understanding and support.
