Musician Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster, broke down in tears as he bid his late wife, actress Beverly Afaglo Baah, a final farewell.
The emotional moment occurred during Beverly’s funeral at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Choirmaster struggled to hold back his tears as he filed past the mortal remains of the actress, who died at the age of 42.
In his tribute, he remembered Beverly as his wife, best friend and soulmate, while also praising her faith, kindness and strength.
The couple had two daughters, who were also present during the funeral and shared in the emotional farewell.
The funeral service attracted several personalities from Ghana’s entertainment industry, including Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Nana Ama McBrown, Majid Michel, Roselyn Ngissah and Van Vicker.
Choirmaster had returned to Ghana ahead of the funeral after spending time abroad.
Beverly Afaglo died on May 24, 2026, leaving behind her husband, two daughters, family members, friends and a large community of colleagues and admirers.
Her final funeral rites were held at the State House, after which she was buried privately.
