Yesyoucan Cybersecure LLC has inaugurated its inaugural office in Ghana, located a few kilometres west of the University of Ghana in Westlands. The move comes as the firm seeks to fill gaps in the country’s cybersecurity ecosystem by recruiting and training young professionals.
Founder and Cybersecurity Analyst Dr. Noah Darko‑Adjei told Citi Business News during the opening that the decision was driven by the identified shortfalls in Ghana’s cyber defence capabilities. “Yesyoucan Cybersecure is here in Ghana, this our maiden office that we launched today, and we’re going to hire several talents across Ghana, especially the youth who are into the cybersecurity space,” he said.
The new office will offer IT and cybersecurity consulting to banks, healthcare providers, academic institutions and government agencies, providing system assessments, compliance support and audit preparation. Dr. Darko‑Adjei added that the firm will also conduct mock audits and help organisations meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Beyond services, the Ghana branch will serve as a training hub. The curriculum will cover IT audit, AI security and assurance, security operations, endpoint security, vulnerability management and data analytics. “Once we train some of the youth, they’re going to fill this space,” he said, noting the intent to secure local and international contracts for trained professionals.
Dr. Darko‑Adjei highlighted the growing risks businesses face from weak cyber controls, pointing to access control, change management, IT operations and data privacy as critical areas needing improvement. He urged smaller firms to start with basic measures such as stronger access controls and password management.
The expansion blends commercial growth with talent development, positioning Yesyoucan Cybersecure as both a service provider and a pipeline for Ghana’s future cybersecurity workforce.
