Member of Parliament for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Kofi Arko Nokoe, announced on Sunday that 150 solar‑powered streetlights have been delivered for the Axim–Ayisakro–Dadwen–Kegyina Highway.
In a Facebook post dated 1 November, the MP said the lights had arrived ahead of their installation and are part of a broader effort to enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians and residents along the stretch.
Mr Nokoe explained that the new lighting will improve visibility after dark and reduce the risks associated with travelling along the highway at night.
He expressed optimism that the intervention would make the route safer for all users and help prevent accidents during low‑light conditions.
