Seth Nii Attoh Mensah Sowah has been re‑elected as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for Ledzokuku, securing 1,169 of the 2,767 votes cast in the party’s recent internal election.
In a statement to the media following his victory, Mr Sowah pledged to unite party members and bolster grassroots structures, arguing that cohesion will be key to maintaining the NDC’s parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.
He highlighted the need to improve inner roads within the constituency as a priority for fulfilling commitments made to residents during the 2024 campaign, warning that internal divisions could give the opposition New Patriotic Party an opening.
“The focus will be on most of the constituency’s inner roads. We will consolidate the gains of the party towards the 2028 elections. The NPP can win when there is disunity among us, but I will ensure that does not happen,” he said.
Mr Sowah reiterated his commitment to bringing members together, enhancing the effectiveness of party structures, and preparing the NDC to retain the parliamentary seat in 2028.
