The incident, which followed their tense Ghana Music Awards/VGMA episode, was described by Stonebwoy as one of the most talked‑about peace meals in the entertainment industry.
Stonebwoy said he cooked the meal, while a circulating video has sparked claims that his wife, Dr Louisa, actually prepared the jollof. The revelation sent social media into overdrive, shifting the focus from the apology itself to the mystery of who truly cooked the dish.
The online buzz intensified when old social media exchanges involving actress Yvonne Nelson resurfaced. The posts referenced Sarkodie, a beach house and, notably, jollof with fried eggs. In 2023, Nelson had mentioned “Opana” and jollof with fried eggs, prompting fans to link the comments to Sarkodie and suggest a longstanding affinity for the dish.
Entertainment personalities have joined the chatter. Shatta Wale posted a playful jab, dubbing Sarkodie the “Sark Jollof Lord,” adding another layer to the light‑hearted debate that now dominates Ghanaian social media.
