One month after actress Beverly Afaglo Baah was laid to rest, her husband, musician Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah—known as Choirmaster—shared an emotional Instagram tribute. He wrote that although the world kept moving, his own life felt as if it had stopped.
Choirmaster said he misses Beverly in countless ways, especially her voice, smile, presence and the everyday moments they once shared. He reflected that grief is simply love with nowhere to go, and that he will carry that love for the rest of his life.
He thanked Beverly for the life they shared, the memories made and the love she gave him, pledging to keep her memory alive in his heart every day. The couple married on 14 April 2012 and had two daughters. Beverly, who was 42, died on 24 May 2026 after a battle with cancer and was buried on 8 August 2026 at State House, Accra.
The outpouring of tributes from colleagues, friends and fans highlighted her impact as an actress, television personality and entrepreneur. For Choirmaster, however, the passage of time has done little to ease the pain of losing his wife of more than 14 years. He continues to hold on to their shared memories as he mourns her loss.
