In the final day of the second JoyNews–Republic Bank Habitat Fair, Marina Mall in Accra saw a surge of visitors keen to explore mortgage products and receive expert advice on buying, building and renovating homes. The event, which began on Friday, September 11, brought together banks, property developers, construction firms and other professionals from across Ghana’s housing sector.
Prospective homeowners, property investors and builders continued to engage exhibitors on financing, property acquisition and construction matters. Republic Bank Ghana highlighted its mortgage facilities for salaried workers, self‑employed professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners, offering options for purchase, build and renovation.

Attendees also compared building and finishing materials and explored services designed to improve comfort, security and energy efficiency. Exhibitors included Drive EV GH, Virtual Security Africa, Akwaaba Building Materials, Lesh Fortune Limited, DoorMaster, Ayuda App, Western Vilas, Ctechi Ghana Limited, Velo West Africa and Saint‑Gobain Weber Ghana, covering mobility, security, construction, interior design, property development and energy solutions.
The National Homeownership Fund (NHF) showcased affordable housing and financing solutions aimed at helping Ghanaians transition from renting to owning. Patrons could ask questions and receive practical guidance on the various stages of the home‑ownership journey.

Beyond mortgages, the fair offered a one‑stop platform for real‑estate, construction materials, interior décor, home security, renewable energy and technology solutions. The strong turnout reflects growing interest in homeownership and the need for accessible financing and reliable professional guidance.
As the fair closes today, attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the final opportunity to interact with exhibitors, explore mortgage options and seek expert advice on their housing plans.
