Ghanaian radio personality and DJ Andy Dosty has added another major milestone to his career after becoming the first Ghanaian DJ to headline New York's renowned Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage Festival.
The Ghanaian entertainer represented the country at the 2026 edition of the festival, performing on one of New York's major outdoor stages.
His appearance formed part of the festival's 40th anniversary celebrations and marked a significant moment for Ghanaian music and DJ culture on the international stage.
Andy Dosty reportedly delivered a set dominated by Ghanaian music, taking festival-goers through a selection of popular Ghanaian hits.
The performance saw audiences singing along and dancing as the DJ showcased Ghana's sound and culture to an international audience.
Beyond his work as a DJ, Andy Dosty has established himself as one of Ghana's respected radio personalities.
He currently hosts The Afternoon Ride on Hitz FM, where he combines music, entertainment news, interviews and discussions.
He also hosts The Library on Joy FM, a programme that explores the stories behind some of Ghana's biggest songs, including their songwriting, production and inspiration.
Over the years, Andy Dosty has also worked with and promoted several Ghanaian musicians, including KiDi, E.L, Ras Kuuku and Okyeame Kwame.
His SummerStage appearance therefore represents more than a personal career achievement, as it also places Ghanaian DJs and music culture on a prominent international platform.
The milestone is expected to further strengthen the growing presence of Ghanaian music and entertainment personalities in global markets.
