The Ministry of Health will open its recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, for medical officers and dentists who have completed their housemanship and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council. The exercise aims to fill staffing gaps in health facilities across the country, the ministry said in a notice issued on Monday, October 26.
Qualified applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry’s online recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com, following the instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies. The portal will open at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and close on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
The Ministry has urged applicants to use only the official portal and cautioned them against individuals who may demand money under the pretext of facilitating their recruitment. It emphasised that the process would be transparent and warned applicants not to make any payments in connection with the exercise. “The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement said.
