The Global Game Scouting Tournament will kick off on September 25, running through September 26 at the McDan Sports Complex in Labadi, Accra. Organised in partnership with ExcelsiorPro, the competition is set to attract scouts, professional clubs, academies and football agencies eager to identify emerging talent.
Players entering the tournament will be evaluated on technical skill, tactical understanding, physical attributes, attitude and overall potential. Standout performers could earn recommendations for trials and other opportunities with professional clubs.
In addition to on‑field assessment, the event will feature match‑day video coverage, social media updates, digital platforms, sports blogs and radio broadcasts, providing extra exposure for participants.
Beyond the competition, organisers aim to strengthen the pathway between young African footballers and professional opportunities in Europe and beyond, hoping the tournament will serve as a launchpad for future careers.
