The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) issued a forecast for Saturday, September 12, predicting thunderstorms and rain of varying intensities across parts of the country this evening and into the night.
GMet noted that most other regions would experience mostly cloudy conditions. It added that mist and fog patches are expected to develop early Sunday morning over coastal, forest and mountainous areas, with slight to moderate rain likely in some coastal and forest zones during the morning hours.
The agency also reported that sea conditions are currently rough and urged the public to remain vigilant as the weather persists.
