Jinapor: Africa captures just 10–15% of lithium value chain, justice must anchor green minerals push
Delivering a keynote at the University of Ghana's "Justice in critical minerals governance and green transition" programme, the former Lands Minister warned that without deliberate, justice-centred policy, Africa's energy transition risks becoming another cycle of resource exploitation, citing a $11 billion lithium mining industry dwarfed by a $7 trillion battery production sector.
