President John Dramani Mahama is set to commence a two‑day Resetting Ghana tour in the Upper West Region on Friday, September 11, and will remain until Saturday, September 12. The visit is part of a broader nationwide campaign aimed at engaging citizens directly on government policies, programmes and regional development priorities.

The Upper West leg will see the President meet with local stakeholders and communities, highlighting the progress and plans under the Resetting Ghana agenda. He will also provide a platform for residents to raise concerns and discuss issues that affect their daily lives.

During the tour, Mahama is expected to outline how the national reset agenda is being implemented across the region, including initiatives in infrastructure, education and health. The President will also outline future development priorities that align with the government’s broader reset strategy.

Stakeholders in the Upper West Region have expressed optimism that the direct engagement will lead to more responsive governance and tangible outcomes for the community. The visit is seen as an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people, ensuring that national policies are informed by grassroots input.

Following the Upper West engagements, Mahama will continue his nationwide tour, visiting other regions to maintain the momentum of the Resetting Ghana agenda. The tour is expected to conclude with a series of policy briefings and community forums that will further the government’s commitment to transparency and citizen participation.
