Fielding questions from Minority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh at her vetting, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings said she would channel CSIR funding into biodegradable plastic alternatives, as she revealed a polystyrene ban is expected within six months and called for non-permeable landfill bases to stop toxic leachate contaminating groundwater.
