New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in Kumasi will vote on October 3 to elect three National Vice Chairpersons, a process that will involve a tally system to count votes for the 13 aspirants contesting the positions.
Frederick Opare‑Ansah, Chairperson of the NPP National Officers Elections Committee, confirmed that the votes for the three roles will be tallied using a computerized system and that detailed voting instructions will be sent to delegates before the polls open.
Opare‑Ansah also announced that the final Delegates Register has been completed and will be available for collection by aspirants or their authorised representatives from Thursday, 17 September 2026. He added that an online verification facility has been introduced to allow delegates to confirm their eligibility ahead of the elections.
The elections will take place at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, where the party will elect its national officers. Opare‑Ansah said preparations are proceeding according to schedule following discussions with aspirants and their representatives on the final rules, regulations and operational arrangements for the polls.
