At the NPP National Delegates Conference held Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, the party chose its new leadership team. Kojo Fosu Boadu, better known as Kojo Bamba, secured 3,116 votes to become First Vice Chairman. Henry Nana Boakye, or Nana B, received 3,061 votes to take the Second Vice Chairman role, and Nana Akomea earned 2,981 votes to be Third Vice Chairman.
All three were sworn in alongside other newly elected national officers, marking a fresh slate for the party’s direction after the national elections.
Former NPP General Secretary John Boadu won the National Chairman seat with 2,888 votes, defeating former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko (2,048 votes) and former National Chairman Paul Afoko (490 votes). Boadu’s victory follows a campaign that highlighted his experience and commitment to party unity.
The new leadership team will steer the party’s affairs as it prepares for upcoming political contests and policy initiatives.
