High Commissioner Shem Amadi of Kenya to Ghana opened his residence to 25 African Heads of Mission on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, for a series of consultations and an exchange on bilateral, regional and multilateral priorities.
The gathering, convened at the request of the participating missions, offered a forum for diplomats to share perspectives on common concerns and to identify ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation across the continent.
Discussions also advanced Kenya’s diplomatic agenda, notably the support for Justice Phoebe Okowa’s candidacy to the International Court of Justice and Justice Njoki Susanna Ndungu’s bid for the International Criminal Court. The High Commission highlighted Kenya Airways’ push to increase connectivity throughout West Africa.
Amadi underscored the need for sustained dialogue among African missions in Ghana to further shared objectives and deepen continental collaboration. He reiterated the Kenya High Commission’s commitment to fostering African solidarity and advancing multilateral cooperation.
