The HIDAH Humanitarian Foundation wrapped up a free, two‑day skills development programme on the campus of Majd International School in East Legon. The event, organised by founder Mujahida Ibrahim Prah, aimed to equip Ghana’s next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs with practical tools for success.
Sponsored by Majd International School and Vaal Real Estate, the programme went beyond a typical workshop. Participants received training in leadership, public speaking, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship, and were encouraged to apply what they learned beyond the classroom.
Former Minister of Information Fatimatu Abubakar opened the session with a talk on personal development, stressing that true leadership starts with self‑awareness, discipline and confidence. She urged the youth to believe in themselves and to view the skills gained as tools for building confidence, creating opportunities, serving communities and becoming responsible leaders of tomorrow.
Other speakers included Suweiba Awudu Bawa of Suhud Event & Planning, who led a workshop on event and creative decoration, unlocking participants’ creative potential. Throughout the two days, attendees engaged in hands‑on activities, asked questions, and networked with peers and experts.
Founder Mujahida Ibrahim Prah said the initiative reflected HIDAH’s core mission: “Empowering people with skills, knowledge, confidence, and opportunities gives them the tools to build better lives and positively impact others.” She added that the programme was an investment in people, hoping the skills would translate into real‑world opportunities.
The foundation thanked all trainers, speakers, volunteers, partners and supporters for making the programme a success. By offering high‑value, free training, HIDAH and its partners aim to build confidence, create sustainable pathways and nurture future leaders.
