Dr Stephen Adjei died on Saturday, 3 October 2026. His family, including Prof. Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah, Esq., Dean of Central Law School, Central University, and Hon. Maame Sarfoah Appiah, Municipal Chief Executive of Asante Akim South, have announced the arrangements for his memorial.
The wake will be held at Old Ahenfie (Nana Yaw Amagyei Fie) in Juaso from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. No wake‑keeping is requested. The burial service will take place at the Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Juaso, at 11:30 a.m. on the same day.
Funeral rites will continue at the forecourt of Old Ahenfie from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A thanksgiving service is scheduled for Sunday, 4 October 2026, at Mount Calvary Presbyterian Church from 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by final funeral rites at the forecourt. Family gatherings will occur on Monday, 5 October 2026, at Old Ahenfie.
Family members, including Dr. Stephen Adjei’s widow Mrs. Deborah Ama Kyerewaah Adjei, Dr. Patrick Adjei, and others, have requested that the community honor his memory with peaceful remembrance rather than wake‑keeping.
