
Minority boycotts Supreme Court vetting, says four days isn't enough for three lifetime appointments
Walking out of Thursday's Appointments Committee sitting, the Minority Caucus argued that rushing Justice Sophia Bernasko-Essah, Justice Amoako Asante and former GBA President Tony Forson through vetting before Parliament's recess ends breaches multiple Standing Orders, while offering to proceed on the two ministerial nominees, Mahama Ayariga and Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, on a normal timetable.
