Appiah's message arrives as Ghana seeks continental dominance. Having claimed the bronze medal in the prior tournament, the Black Queens enter this WAFCON campaign with heightened expectations and strong momentum under head coach Kim Lars Björkegren.
Ghana was drawn into Group D alongside Cape Verde, Cameroon, and Mali. Beyond continental glory, the stakes are exceptionally high: securing a semi-final spot in Morocco will automatically qualify the team for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.
