A recent Global InfoAnalytics survey released on September 30 shows former New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary John Boadu leading the party’s chairmanship race with 48% of the vote, a 10‑point margin over former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, who trails at 38%.
The poll, based on the firm’s Committed Delegates Model, also places former NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko at 12% and former First Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe at 2%. Net favourability scores in the same graphic rank Boadu at +64, Agyarko at +58, Afoko at +45 and Crabbe at +39.
Global InfoAnalytics noted that the September 30 exercise used random probability sampling from the 16 regions and the 2026 NPP constituencies register, with data collected via Computer‑Assisted Telephone Interviews. The study reports a 98% confidence level and a ±1.34 percentage‑point margin of error.
Earlier in the month, a September 2 poll had Boadu at 23.3% and Agyarko at 17.7%, with 41.3% of respondents undecided, illustrating how methodology and sample size can shift support levels.
The latest figures arrive just weeks before the NPP’s national executive elections on October 3, 2026, underscoring the importance of polling methodology in interpreting the contest’s dynamics.
