Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, the Member of Parliament for Effiduase‑Asokore, handed over a brand‑new 18‑seater Benz Sprinter bus to the constituency’s New Patriotic Party executives on Wednesday, 30 September 2026. The donation was announced as a gesture to bolster party activities and improve the welfare of its members.
During the hand‑over ceremony, the MP explained that the vehicle would be used to facilitate party events and strengthen the sense of belonging among NPP members in the area. “NPP is a family, but here at Effiduase‑Asokore, we are more than a family, and I know this vehicle will help improve the living conditions of the NPP fraternity,” he said.
He added, “It is the will of God for me to present the vehicle today. On behalf of my family and my good conscience, I present this vehicle to the elephant family here in my constituency.”
The constituency executives expressed gratitude for the timely donation, describing it as a major boost to grassroots party organisation. They thanked Dr. Afriyie for his continued commitment to the welfare of party members and the wider community.
