The Western Gospel Awards (WGA) will celebrate gospel musicians and industry players on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi.
Organised by Prolific GH in partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), the event will showcase performances by Akesse Brimpong, Kofi Karikari, Esther Godwyll, Yvonne Menz, South African gospel artiste Deborah McKay, Efua Black and SK Frimpong.
The ceremony, which aims to recognise gospel talent in the Western Region and beyond, is expected to draw musicians, pastors, media personalities, entertainment executives, corporate organisations and gospel music enthusiasts for a night of music and awards.
After a Blue Carpet reception at 5 p.m., the main awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., highlighting both established and emerging artists and encouraging creativity within the gospel music landscape.
The WGA has long served as a platform for gospel musicians to reach wider audiences, and the sixth edition promises to continue that tradition with a mix of local and international performers.
