Peppa Fennis, the 16‑year‑old Dutch sensation, captured her second straight ITF J60 girls’ singles title at the Accra Sports Stadium National Tennis Centre in Ghana. She beat South Korea’s Jiwon Hwang 6‑3, 6‑1 in the final, after a dominant semi‑final win over Eloise Agnamba 6‑2, 7‑6(2). Hwang had advanced to the final by defeating Nigeria’s Success Ogunjobi 6‑4, 6‑4.
Fennis’s victory extends her winning streak at the venue, having defended the title she won at the previous Accra tournament. The event was organised in partnership with Tennis Foundation Ghana and the Ghana Tennis Federation.
