High School Praise ’26 will be held Saturday, October 31, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Shield International School in Adenta, Accra.

The event, organised by Nii Okai Ministries (NOM), was launched on Tuesday, October 6, at the AI Centre of IT Consortium in East Legon.

High School Praise is part of NOM’s four‑year High School Mission, which uses music, worship and mentorship to engage students while raising support for children with congenital heart conditions.

Through its High School Music Evangelism programme, the team visits schools and uses entertainment sessions to minister through music, with some schools having their own music teams.

Rev. Nii Okai said the long‑term goal is to turn High School Praise into a national festival that could span multiple days and involve schools from across the country. He called on the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education to help secure a stadium for the proposed expansion.

Chief Technology Officer of IT Consortium, Franklin Eleblu, welcomed the project, saying it was a meaningful use of the company’s resources.

The 2026 edition will bring together students from Shield International School, Tema International School, Akosombo International School, Life International College, Ghana Christian International High School and Vine Christian High School.

Renowned gospel artiste Cofi Boham will perform, and Rev. Nii Okai will host. Students will also compete in a fundraising drive via the Chango platform, with Sweet Muzic Pro Audio offering musical equipment as prizes.

Pastor Abraham Asiedu, CEO of Sweet Muzic Pro Audio, pledged the company’s continued support for the programme.

Last year’s fundraising helped finance the successful heart surgery of eight‑year‑old Husseina, giving her a new chance at life and hope for a healthier future.
