Oliver Glasner’s return to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday ended in disappointment as the Eagles were beaten 2‑1 by Nottingham Forest. The match, played in front of a packed home crowd, began with Forest taking an early lead when Dan Ndoye calmly finished a low finish in the third minute.
Despite dominating much of the first half, Forest were denied a second chance when Liam Delap was denied a close‑range shot by Walter Benitez. Palace, however, turned the game around with two goals before the interval. Daichi Kamada’s first Premier League goal capped a team move to level the score four minutes before the break, and Jefferson Lerma headed in a second in stoppage time.
In the second half, Yeremy Pino added a third for Palace, sending Forest fans into a frenzy and prompting chants aimed at Glasner. Benitez made a crucial save to keep the scoreline, and substitute Chris Wood failed to reduce the deficit. Palace’s victory moves them up to 12th in the league, while Forest fall to 14th.
