Get Your Answers Consult has opened applications for the fifth cohort of its Career Mentorship Programme, a Ghana‑wide initiative that helps students, jobseekers and professionals gain career clarity, develop relevant skills and build purposeful, future‑ready careers. The cohort will begin on Sunday, November 8, 2026, and run virtually over four weekends from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
According to the organisation, the programme was created to address a recurring challenge among aspiring and emerging professionals who possess the qualifications and potential to succeed but often lack direction, networks, practical strategies and mentorship to translate that potential into meaningful career opportunities. The mentorship programme focuses on career clarity and direction, personal branding, networking strategies, artificial intelligence, future‑ready workplace skills, career development and employability, as well as industry insights and mentorship.
Career coach Lydia Quayson Adjei said the programme goes beyond conventional motivational sessions by providing participants with practical tools and guidance for long‑term career development.
“Our goal is not simply to prepare someone for their next job. Our goal is to help people build careers,”she said.
Participants receive support to identify strengths and interests, develop career visions, create SMART career vision boards, improve CVs and LinkedIn profiles, prepare for interviews and build professional networks. The programme has shown steady growth since its launch: the inaugural cohort attracted more than 20 applications, with 15 selected and 12 graduating; Cohort 2 drew over 100 applications, 50 selected and 38 completing; Cohort 3 had 50 applications, 35 selected and 28 completing; and Cohort 4 received 90 applications, 50 selected and 33 graduating.
Alumni report increased career confidence, stronger personal branding, improved decision‑making and expanded professional networks. Some have secured new employment, transitioned into new career paths, strengthened leadership capabilities and pursued larger professional goals. Lydia noted that the programme’s growth demonstrates the importance of providing people with access to practical career guidance and professional networks.
“When people have access to the right guidance, exposure, networks and practical tools, potential can become progress,”she added.
The programme is open to students, recent graduates, National Service Personnel, jobseekers, early‑career professionals and experienced professionals seeking the next level of growth.
