On 26 October 2026, the Africa Cocoa Finance & Investment Forum (ACFIF) will convene at 48 Wall Street in New York’s Financial District, bringing together investors, financial institutions, policymakers, cocoa industry leaders, development partners and entrepreneurs to connect Africa’s cocoa sector with global capital and U.S. commercial opportunities.
The New York edition follows the successful launch at the London Stock Exchange in May 2026, where H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor, former President of Ghana, and Mr. Michel Arrion, Executive Director of the International Cocoa Organization, highlighted the sector’s potential.
ACFIF will feature four panels on mobilising investment capital for cocoa transformation, strengthening revenues through price‑risk management, showcasing bankable opportunities across Africa’s cocoa value chain, and expanding U.S. market access for African cocoa and value‑added products. Contributors will include investors, banks, development finance institutions, commodity and risk management experts, industry leaders and project sponsors, alongside networking opportunities and strategic fireside conversations.
On 27 October, selected delegates will visit the Port of Philadelphia, a major North American cocoa logistics gateway, for practical insights into U.S. cocoa importation, warehousing, distribution and supply chain operations, supported by Dependable Distribution Services Inc.
Participation is offered at no cost to approved delegates, thanks to sponsors such as Sunbeth Global Concepts, StoneX Group Inc., Macquarie Group, Three Mountains Cocoa, CRA & Veriground LLC, JSG Commodities and 48 Wall Street Events. ACFIF is convened by Cocoa Trade & Invest Africa, the Institute for Cacao & Chocolate Research and Anchora Advisory, with strategic partners including the Côte d’Ivoire–Ghana Cocoa Initiative, International Cocoa Diplomacy, Chocoa, Pan African Visions and the World Business Angels Forum.
Investors, financial institutions, cocoa exporters, processors, manufacturers, traders, logistics providers, technology firms and other stakeholders are invited to apply. Places are limited and subject to approval by the ACFIF Secretariat.
