Ghanaian music duo Yomi Boiz have unveiled a new EP, Feeling Sad, dedicated to the memory of their late friend Eva Adu Koranteng, affectionately known as Eva.
The pair, cousins Anim Ansong Albert (Kwaku Trappa) and Appiah Anim Daniel (Locomotion), mix Afrobeats, Ghanaian drill and hip‑hop in a sound that has already earned them a growing fan base. Their latest project, available on Audiomack, is described by the duo as a personal tribute that uses music to honour someone who was part of their lives.
They say the dedication gives the release added significance and offers listeners a glimpse into the personal experiences that shape their work. The EP highlights how music can serve as a medium for remembrance and emotional expression, allowing artists to preserve meaningful connections through their creative work.
Yomi Boiz’s musical journey began with a shared interest in creating music and a determination to establish themselves in Ghana’s competitive entertainment industry. Their growing catalogue includes the single “Rhythm of the Streets.” As they continue to develop their sound and expand their catalogue, the duo remains focused on building a lasting presence in Ghana’s music industry.
