Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff was shot at on Sunday evening while driving away from a football club in the Juhu suburb of Mumbai. Police investigators confirm the 36‑year‑old suffered no gunshot wounds.

Video footage shared by several news outlets shows at least two gunmen firing multiple shots at close range into the front passenger seat of Shroff’s vehicle as it slowly moved past a crowd. The attack left Shroff’s driver and another passenger injured, according to local media reports.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Shroff after the incident, stating that the actor and his mother were “shaken” by the attack. “These attempts to intimidate people will not be tolerated, and we will put an end to this hooliganism,” Shinde said.

The shooting adds to a string of targeted attacks on high‑profile figures in India over recent years. In 2024, police arrested two members of a criminal gang for a gun attack on Salman Khan’s home, and influential politician Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai the same year.

Shroff, who made his acting debut in 2014 with Heropanti and is also a football enthusiast playing for Mumbay FC, remains unharmed but reportedly shaken by the incident.

Police are continuing their investigation into the motive and perpetrators behind the attack. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of public figures in India.
