Telecel Cash has reached a major milestone, disbursing more than GH₵1 billion through its Ready Loan service. The figure marks a significant expansion of the company’s digital credit offering, which was launched in partnership with CBG Ghana and Simbrella Ghana Limited.
Ready Loan delivers instant, short‑term credit directly into users’ Telecel Cash wallets. Eligible customers can borrow up to GH₵2,500, with funds credited within minutes. The service is designed to help users meet urgent expenses, manage cash‑flow gaps, and seize business or personal opportunities without the delays of traditional banking.
“As digital financial services continue to transform lives across Ghana, Telecel Cash remains focused on developing solutions that make financial services simpler, more accessible and more relevant to customers,” said Philp Amoateng, Managing Director of Telecel Mobile Financial Services. “Through services such as Ready Loan, Telecel Cash is helping to deepen financial inclusion while empowering customers with greater financial flexibility and control.”
Fui Fiadjoe, Managing Director of Simbrella Ghana Limited, added, “We reaffirm our commitment to driving significant loan disbursement volumes while upholding safety, responsibility, and inclusivity.”
Customers can access Ready Loan by dialing *110#, selecting Financial Services (Option 5) and then Loans (Option 2). The loan request process is streamlined to fit within a few simple steps, making formal credit accessible from any mobile phone.
The GH₵1 billion milestone reflects the growing demand for digital credit solutions in Ghana and the trust customers place in Telecel Cash as a reliable provider of innovative financial services. The company aims to continue expanding its reach and supporting financial inclusion across the country.
